100% Pinot Noir sourced from five different organically farmed vineyard sites within the Willamette Valley AVA. Blueberry pie with baking spices, unsweetened cocoa powder, mossy forest floor, red and black cherry, and a whiff of sea air
A delightful Willamette Valley blend of 58% Gamay and 42% Dolcetto. Rosy floral and juicy with blueberries and boysenberry, grilled plums, cracked pepper, dark berries, obsidian minerals, petrichor, and summer forest.
100% Dolcetto sourced from Aurora Vineyard in Oregon's Chehalem Mountains AVA. Black cherries, black figs, dried raspberry, blueberries, cured meats, roast lamb in a chimichurri of mint, oregano, lemon peel.
42% Malbec, 24% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, 12% Tannat, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Bright raspberry and plum, cedar, black pepper, and low earthy mushroom, violets and a hint of tobacco. The palate is full of black cherry, black plum, and black raspberry, leafy raspberry tea, pepper, clove and anise.
Still, red Pinot Meunier is such a revelation! Beautiful raspberry fruit and leaf, wild strawberry, red plum, sweet mint and flinty obsidian. Elegant but with a charmingly rustic side.
90% Syrah and 10% Viognier, sourced from Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Dark Blueberry & blackberry alongside supple, earthy tannins and a savory complex finish. Black & white pepper, olive tapenade, fennel, and summer herbs.
This wine is a love letter to my baby son. A true Syrah in a cooler climate tradition, this wine couldn't be mistaken for anything else. 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier co-fermented from Deux Vert Vineyard in the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Blue & black fruit, pepper and spice, with firm but fine tannins.
Oregon's finest Syrah comes from Applegate Valley, and this expression from Mae's Vineyard, co-fermented with 7% Viognier, shows exactly why these sites are making a splash in the domestic scene.
