Berserker DAY #4 - Chardonnay & Pinot 6-Pack

Our Oregon Chardonnay and Pinot Noir 6-Pack includes 2 bottles of each wine listed below.

2021 Eola Springs Vineyard Chardonnay - PH 3.41, TA 5.7 g/l, 13% ABV. Hyde-Wente, Mt. Eden, and Dijon 96 clones, planted in the late 90’s in the Eola Amity Hills.  The wine is lively, lithe, and has a solid mineral structure with a supple and glossy mid palate. Lemon curd, peaches, river stones, lime zest, sweet orange, honeysuckle and a hint of pastry. Grapes were gently pressed, settled cold in stainless steel and racked to a mix of barrique and puncheon. 30% new barrels from cooperages who focus on structure as opposed to wood flavors. Spontaneous primary and malo fermentation and no lees stirring to focus on purity and clarity of flavors. 18 months in barrel, unfined and unfiltered.Retail $54 per bottle.

2022 Johan Vineyard Pinot Noir - Pommard, 828, 667, 777 clones. PH 3.62, 5.6 TA, 13% ABV. Van Duzer Corridor AVA, planted in 2002, certified Biodynamic. A deep core of red fruit; raspberry, cranberry, blood orange, pomegranate, with Oregon evergreen forest, black tea, dried thyme, Christmas spice. Moderate tannins and a long finish. 30% whole cluster, spontaneous fermentation, gentle punch downs. Elevage in a mix of barrique and puncheon, French oak, 15% new, for 23 months. Retail $46 per bottle.

2022 Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir - Pommard, 777, 667 clones. PH 3.37, 6.3 g/l TA, 12.82% ABV. McMinnville AVA, 750 feet elevation, planted in 1998, certified Biodynamic. Deeply blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, unsweetened coco powder, rooibos, huckleberry. Persistent, fine tannins and mouth watering acidity. 30% whole cluster, spontaneous fermentation, gentle pigeage. Elevage in a mix of barrique and puncheon, French oak, 15% new, for 23 months. Retail $56 per bottle.
