2021 100 Years A Lady CASE

This wine was made in the honor of my Grandmother, Catherine Day, who turned 100 in September of 2020. Grandma was someone who had inspired and shaped me my whole life. I give her credit for my love of growing things and agriculture, and I appreciate the example she had set in living happily in a way that focused on loving the people around her and not on material possessions. I am very fortunate to have had such a strong, intelligent, resilient, patient, and kind woman as a role model my entire life. 

The wine is 100% Pinot Meunier mostly from Left Coast Cellars in the Van Duzer Corridor AVA. It was 1/3 whole cluster, and aged in 25% new French oak. Intensely pretty, with bright strawberry and rose aromas leaping from the glass, and tart cherry and flint-like stone on the palate. A perfect red wine for summer drinking.
