A 4-Pack of four wines that were recently reviewed by Clive Pursehouse at Decanter.

2023 Dazzles of Light

"The fleshy Chardonnay elements dominate but are brightened by Sauvignon Blanc and Melon de Bourgogne. All three varieties combine wonderfully—rich, tangy citrus aromatics with Meyer lemon pulp, clover honey and a chalky minerality. The palate carries the weight of Chardonnay, accented by the Melon de Bourgogne's mouthfeel and lifted by a brightness from the Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical pineapple flavours cut against tart lemon, green mangoes and a succulent mandarin pulp finish."

2022 Infinite Air Castles

"An excellent combination of Dolcetto and Gamay highlights these varieties' bright fruit and savoury character. Winemaker Brianne Day has many body and fruit presence similarities in these two varieties. She thought ‘they would complement each other well. I also like that in their respective home regions. They occupy a similar underdog or kid sister role to Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo.’ Wild green strawberries, smoke and violets announce this delightful blend with a real Old World bent. The palate is playful, with tart cranberries, bright strawberries, wild mint, and a touch of Italian countryside rusticity. Delicious."

2022 Deep Blue

"Sourced from five biodynamically farmed sites throughout the Willamette Valley, including Johan, Momtazi, and, in 2022, Yamhill Springs, Roshni, and Nemarniki. Brianne Day donates some of the profits to support Pacific Ocean causes, including the Oregon Kelp Alliance, which supports kelp and shellfish farmers along the southern Oregon coast. Bright and fresh with tightly wound aromatics of red cranberry, smoky blood orange and gobs of wintergreen. The savoury elements stand out on the palate as delicious fresh herbs, white pepper, and chopped fresh mint make room for blue and red bramble fruits, wild green strawberries and a finish of raspberry leaf."

2016 Tears of Vulcan

"This is hands down my favourite orange wine, coming from the Chehalem Mountains AVA, a blend of Viognier and Pinot Gris. It's eight years old. Maybe there's a connection to it's complexity and appeal? Aromas of candied apricots, guava, and clover honey mingle with white tea leaf. The palate shows lemon balm accents with candied orange peel, wild herbs, cardamom, and a savoury finish."
