Cancilla Vineyard is a lovely certified organic, dry farmed vineyard, just north of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA in the northern Willamette Valley. It sits close to the Coast Range, exactly halfway between Tillamook and Portland. These two barrels stood out from the rest of the vintage as being especially lovely to me, so I decide to showcase them on their own and bottle them exclusively for our wine club members. They represent what I’m trying to achieve when I make Pinot noir.
